As Minnesotans, we are acutely aware of the fleeting nature of summer...so we encourage everyone to enjoy it while you can! One good way? Attending some great summer animal focused events with your friends from Pure Spirit. And... Hello, Wisconsin! Mark you calendars for the weekend of August 6-9!  Marilyn Tokach will be in the Green Bay and Appleton area for the Mit Liebe German Shepherd Rescue Pet Expo. While in Packerland, she will be giving a talk at Rin Tin Inn and offering a 1-day Intro to Animal Communication workshop.  Stay tuned for more information!

Introducing: Pat Hook, Pure Spirit's Newest Trainer

We are excited to introduce the newest addition to Pure Spirit! Pat Hook has joined our team as a dog trainer. Pat's unique experience includes working as a veterinary assistant and a zoo keeper, as well as studying biology at the University of South Carolina. Pat brings 12 years of experience in dog training both in a private setting and in group classes. Additionally, she has worked with local and national groups which work with canine service dogs for people with physical disabilities and autistic children. Join us in welcoming Pat! Read more.

101 Dog Tricks by Kyra Sundance and Chalcy is one of the best books out there for teaching your dog tricks. The book goes step by step through each trick, with full color photos to guide you through. Definitely worth a look!
