We are sending out our Holiday newsletter again.  This was originally sent December first, but some technological issues occurred causing many article links to be broken or guided you to the back end of our website.  We've made some changes and hopefully have fixed the problem.  So we are sending this out again with a few changes (like the extension of the gift certificate sale and we're happy to report that Squeaky the cat has found a home and is no longer available for adoption). We don't want to fill your mail box with redundant stuff, but we heard form so many that the links were a problem and we do want to make sure you get the information you need.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

We are so thankful to our wonderful clients and friends who have been part of our lives in 2011 and before. We wish you all a fantastic holiday season filled with love, happiness and all things that bring you joy (like a well-mannered dog, the purr of your favorite feline, the happy chirps and chats of your feathered friends or the partnership and grace of your horsey-friend or other animal companion).

Mental Stimulation Is Important

As the weather cools and we humans (at least in Minnesota) begin to hibernate, we can forget that our pets need consistent exercise beyond the quick potty break outside the back door. Luckily, studies show that mental stimulation is nearly as effective as physical exercise to help our pets adjust to our more sedentary lifestyle over the next few months. Please give to your local humane society or rescue organization this holiday season, but beware of large "non-profit" organizations with huge budgets for advertising that tugs on your heartstrings, but do very little to help local (if any) animals in need.
