101 Dog Tricks, by Kyra Sundance and Chalcy, is one of the best books out there for teaching your dog tricks.  As a dog trainer, myself, I wouldn’t recommend a book like this unless it were really good!  The book goes step-by-step through each trick, which are rated in difficulty, and even includes full color photographs of the steps you take.  There are tricks for dogs at every level, so no one is left out!

The tricks, though called “tricks,” have elements of obedience training as well, which is good for any dog who needs a little help in that area.  From just learning to sit and stay to rolling over, even to waving good-bye, this book is a fun way to teach your dog new things and to bond with him or her.  It is a very useful tool for you and your faithful companion.  Running out of ideas to do with your dog?  Teach a trick!
