Dog Training Class - Prior Lake

We're so excited you'll be joining us for class! You should plan to arrive a little early to potty your dog before class and get registration and payment turned in. This REGISTRATION FORM needs to be completed, signed on the back and brought with your to class. The cost is $115 for six sessions, includes clicker & full sized bag of treats for training ($16 value).  Please make check payable to Pure Spirit. You also need to bring copies of current vaccinations for rabies, distemper, parvo and bordetella.

Your dog will also need a well-fitted flat collar with buckle or snap closure. 6 foot (1/4” – 5/8” wide) leash. Leather is preferred. We have some equipment available for purchase. Participants may also bring harnesses, head collars or other training tools they feel may be necessary, but we may not use them in class. Breeds susceptible to trachea damage should use a harness.

AND bring your dog’s FAVORITE toy!

We teach at Paws & Pals Pet Resort, located 5821 Industrial Lane SE, Prior Lake, MN 55372. (I've heard reports that GPS sometimes gives bad directions, so take the Paws & Pals phone number just in case you get lost.  Paws & Pals is located just off CTY Rd 21/Eagle Creek Ave SE in Prior Lake, by Triple Play Sports). The phone number for Paws and Pals is (952) 447-3644.

To recap… here’s a checklist of things to bring to class so you don’t forget anything:

  • Completed registration form, print & signed
  • Copy of vaccination records from your vet (we need to keep them on file)
  • Check or Credit Card or $115 in cash
  • Collar
  • Leash
  • Favorite Toy
  • Favorite Treats
  • Your Dog
  • Your Family
  • Your smiling, happy face
  • LEVEL 1 & 2 students: Bring a mat or bed for your dog to sit/lie on. It should be big enough to fit their entire body, portable enough for you to roll up when not using it and it should have a rubber backing (or be heavy enoguh) so it stays put and doesn't slide around. A bath mat, area rug or yoga mat (you could even cut an old one in half) is usually a good choice, for smaller dogs people have pulled floor mats out of their cars (very creative!).
